Our Building Focuses on
Health, Wellness, and sustainabilitY
81 On Seventh is committed to the importance of environmental sustainability in construction and reuse of materials to minimize waste and environmental impact as well as create healthy, highly efficient, and cost saving measures. In additon, we integrated sustainable solutions by using District Energy Cooling and Heating which has a closed-loop water system between the building and District Energy’s systems central plant. This avoids the building from having to own and operate boilers, chillers, water heaters, and cooling towers, which saves fuel throughout the building.

centralized waste collection
By implementing centralized waste collection, we increase recycling rates throughout the building.
District Energy Heating and Cooling
Hot and chilled water heating and cooling reduces the use of refrigerants and 65% of the fuel for heating is produced by locally sourced wood waste.
Wellness and sustainability education opportunities
Events, FAQs, educational material, e-communications, and social media communication to help tenants make informed decisions.
